#GMVEMSC: New COVID Resource for Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement

Greater Miami Valley EMS Council (GMVEMSC) in conjunction with Dayton MMRS, area public health and emergency management agencies, and the Regional Physicians Advisory Board have a created a new resource:  “COVID-19 Resources for Public Safety.”  This page is located on the GMVEMSC website rather than DaytonMMRS.org so that there is no need to login.  The page is available to anyone, and please share it with all fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies and personnel.  The page can be accessed from Council’s homepage at http://gmvemsc.org/, but the direct link is http://gmvemsc.org/covid.html

The latest addition is guidance on what to do if a first responder has exposure to COVID-19, including management of quarantine issues.  Fit-testing procedures for N-95 masks, and more are also posted.

Please share the link for this resource with all personnel.  We will add dramatically to this page in the next few days, but if there is something you would like to see, please reach out to me.  More than that, if you developed a plan that other agencies could use as a template, please send it to me.

Special thanks to webmaster extraordinaire Chris Vecchi!
