A malicious website pretending to be the live map for Coronavirus is circulating on the Internet waiting for unwitting users to visit the website. The attached document from the Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center (HC3) provides more detailed information and what the website looks like.
I know everyone is anxious to absorb as much information as they can regarding this fast spreading disease but please remember that hackers and cybersecurity criminals prey on opportunities like this and will take advantage of people even in the middle of crisis. Remain suspicious and diligent in protecting the City’s network environment.
