Dear Ohio EMS Grantee: The 2020-2021 Ohio EMS Priority One Training and Equipment application is now available until 5 p.m. April 1, 2020. PLEASE BE ADVISED: There are changes to the 2020-2021 application process. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO APPLY. THESE CHANGES CAN TAKE SEVERAL DAYS TO COMPLETE AND WILL DELAY YOUR APPLICATION PROCESS. In the Division's efforts to maintain accurate and current information for each agency, EMS agencies are required to update their agency account information prior to applying for Ohio EMS grant funds this year. When applying for a grant this year, chiefs are required to submit agency information prior. The agency chief is required to update the agency detail. If you get the following message when applying for and EMS grant: Medical Director information is missing. Please contact your agency chief to update Medical Director information. - If your chief does not have an account: they must create one. In order to create a new account you go to the grant login page and at the bottom select the "Register!" tab.
- If your chief already has an account: or if you are the chief and you have an account, but you/they do not have the “Agency Management” option, you will need to contact the EMS Data team at EMSdata@dps.ohio.gov and have the status changed from “user” to “chief.”
For assistance completing the agency detail, please refer to the quick-start guide: online at http://www.ems.ohio.gov/links/Agency_Information_Update_Guide.pdf . It is on the Data Center webpage, on the right under “Related Links” and entitled “Agency Information Form”. This guide also contains a list of the agency information you will need when completing the initial setup of your agency profile. The system is designed to flow from one section to the next, and will not allow you to skip sections. For additional assistance with completing the agency information, you may contact the Data Team at EMSdata@dps.ohio.gov or call 800-233-0765. For all other grant related questions, please contact the grants administration at 800-233-0765. Thank you for your assistance and patience in helping us to maintain contact with agency.
