Good morning,
Kettering Health Network will be going live with the ESO Health Data Exchange (HDE) on Tuesday, March 3rd at 0800. This will occur simultaneously at all twelve of our emergency departments. To keep things simple we have patterned our workflow from the ESO recommended best practices that are also in use at Premier Health facilities. EMS providers will receive a patient label which you can scan into the PCR using a handheld scanner in the EMS room or the camera on your documentation device. Those with an existing ESO Portal login will use those same credentials to see patient outcome data from transports to KHN facilities along with those from any other HDE participating hospital.
At the same time we will also go live with the ESO TrackEMS pre-hospital communication system. This is a powerful tool to transmit a patient report complete with photos and videos in a secure, privacy protected way. The best part - there is no cost for an agency to deploy and use TrackEMS! To learn more about this tool check out the following link:
We are providing several opportunities where you can come test your PCR with the HDE workflow or get a demo of the TrackEMS system:
3/2/20, 1300-1400 – Soin Medical Center
3/2/20, 1430-1530 – Grandview Medical Center
3/2/20, 1600-1700 – Sycamore Medical Center
3/3/20, 0730-1000 – Kettering Medical Center
For more information about our integration with ESO please feel free to reach out to me using the contact info below.
Thanks,
Chris
