The City of Englewood, Ohio is seeking qualified applicants to fill firefighter and Fire Lieutenant vacancies. The deadline to submit applications is 4:30PM Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

Qualifications
Applicants for firefighter must possess the following:
Ohio Firefighter II certification
Ohio EMT certification (paramedic preferred)
Fire Safety Inspector (within 1 year of hire)
Valid driver license
Applicants for Fire Lieutenant must possess the following:
Ohio Firefighter II certification
Ohio Paramedic certification
Fire Safety Inspector (at time of appointment)
Valid driver license
Three years as a career firefighter
NFPA 1021 Fire Officer I
Associate degree (within 12 months of hire)
Compensation:
Lieutenant salary range for 2020 is $68,052 to $78,039.
Firefighter/Paramedic salary range for 2020 is $57,467 to $73,314.
Firefighter/EMT salary range for 2020 is $40,365 to $44,850.
Appointment Procedure:
The selection process will include written testing, assessment centers, interviews, criminal and personal background check and a driver's license review.
