Last chance to sign up for this Thursday’s class covering the Surgenet MCI page, Quarterly Triage Days, OHTrac, and more. Bring your agency’s cell phones, tablets, etc.! Sign up below.
We are excited to announce a new educational opportunity!
On January 9th from 9 AM to Noon, there will be a regional Communications Committee Meeting will be combined with a train-the-trainer program on mass casualty incident (MCI) communications systems. GDAHA, EMS Council, Miami Valley Fire/EMS Alliance, Dayton MMRS, and their respective communications committees have combined for this program, hosted by Soin Medical Center in the Kumar Conference Rooms.
During this program, you’ll learn how to make the most of our region’s Quarterly Triage Day (QTD) Drills so your personnel are best prepared for a real-world MCI. You’ll learn how easy and how much more effective it is to use the Surgenet MCI page than a Transport Officer Worksheet during an MCI. You’ll get answers to common questions about Triage Tags (and why we’re starting to refer to them as “Treatment Tags”). You’ll see why OHTrac is much better (faster and easier!) than using the Transport Officer Log. And much more.
Bring your department’s devices with you! Phones, tablets, laptops – we’ll help you get them set up to use these MCI communications tools.
Best of all, this is a train-the-trainer program. You’ll have everything you need to take it back to your agency.
Sign up for the program is easy, too. Just click here; signup takes only seconds: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SurgeOhTrac. You can also sign up by opening the attachment and scanning the QR code with your smartphone.
By the way, if you don’t have an OHTrac or Surgenet account, sign up ahead of time! Click here to do that: Request Access
We hope to see you January 9, 2020 at 9:00 AM.
