ANNOUNCEMENT

Draft Rules Open for Public Comment

You are invited to submit public comment regarding proposed changes to rules 4765-15-04, 4765-16-04, and 4765-17-03 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) as outlined in the “Dear Stakeholder letter.”

Amendments to the three administrative rules are drafts only and have not yet been filed (proposed for adoption) with the Legislative Service Commission (LSC) and the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR).  The rules have been filed with the Common Sense Initiative (CSI) office.  The proposed revisions are amendments to require the use of diagnostic waveform capnography in the presence of invasive airway management.

You can review the stakeholder letter, the Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and proposed amendments to rules 4765-15-04, 4765-16-04 and 4765-17-03 of the OAC at the “Draft Rules Open for Public Comments” section of the “Administrative Rules” Website.  Click on the “Emergency Medical Services” tab.

Submit public comments to EMS.rules@dps.ohio.gov and copy CSIPublicComments@governor.ohio.gov.

Public comments may be submitted through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
