Behavioral and emotional health issues among first responders have gained national attention. The Ohio Fire Alliance is a collaboration between the Ohio Fire Chiefs’ Association, the Ohio Association of Professional Firefighters, and the Ohio State Firefighters Association. The three statewide groups wish to better understand the knowledge about, and prevalence of, behavioral and emotional health issues among all EMS professionals and firefighters in Ohio. Survey responses are anonymous and will be compared to national and international data.

It will take less than five minutes to complete the survey. The goal of this project is to better understand the problem and to continuously improve the resources we provide to our members, their families, and all first responders. Anyone certified by the Ohio Department of Public Safety as an EMT or Firefighter is encouraged to participate. The survey will remain open through October 31.
