ANNOUNCEMENT

 

Ohio law requires all agencies to review existing administrative rules every five years to determine if a rule should be rescinded, amended, or continued without change (No Change).

 

The rules in O.A.C. Chapter 4765-4 (Reporting Delivery of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Care) and O.A.C. Chapter 14 (Trauma Triage) were final filed for five year review with the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR) on May 9, 2018.

 

Nine rules are no change rules.  Six rules were amended. These rules became effective on June 1, 2018:

  • Rule 4765‑4-01 of the O.A.C. was amended to revise a citation for materials incorporated by reference.
  • Rule 4765‑4-04 of the O.A.C. was amended to improve the formatting of paragraph (D) and to clarify that mortality is an outcome in the state trauma registry and that the EMFTS Board may evaluate the feasibility of risk adjusting outcome variables.
  • Rule 4765‑4-06 of the O.A.C. was amended to improve the formatting of paragraph (B).

  • Rule 4765‑14-01 of the O.A.C. was amended to correct punctuation and change the word "decrease" to "alteration" in paragraph (I)(1).
  •  Rule 4765‑14-02 of the O.A.C. was amended to improve the structure and clarity of the rule and correct punctuation.
  • Rule 4765‑14-05 of the O.A.C. was amended to improve formatting.
