Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Health and Safety Institute (HSI) is offering an additional 30% discount on top of the already deeply discounted rate for Ohio first responders. The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) has made a change in recertification guidelines. NREMT's Board of Directors approved a motion extending the current recertification deadline from March 31, 2020, to June 30, 2020.
Additionally, all registrants due to recertify March 31, 2020, will not have Distributive Education limitations, meaning those whose NREMT recertification expires March 31, 2020, can now take 100% of their continuing education (CE) hours through online training programs such as 24-7 EMS.
