#GMVEMSC: Locating COVID-19 Test Results within ESO's Outcome Portal

Good morning,

 

We’ve had a number of questions arise from ESO-connected agencies regarding how they can view the results of COVID-19 testing performed on patients they have treated and transported.

 

As long as the CSN number is captured in your report, those agencies participating in the ESO Health Data Exchange will have information on laboratory testing (including COVID-19 test results) pushed to the outcome portal in near real time.

 

The attached tip sheet shows how to navigate the ESO system to locate the information. 

 

If you are not connected with ESO’s Health Data Exchange, the process to do so is fairly simple. Corey Eastwood (corey.eastwood@eso.com) can work with you on the necessary paperwork to begin participating. Kettering Health Network is covering the cost of connection and participation for the first year. After that, the majority of agencies find great value in the info compared to the cost however participation is not mandatory or tied into any long-term contracts.
