#GMVEMSC Jobs: Vandalia Looking For Career Firefighter

With a tradition of service excellence, the City of Vandalia is accepting applications for Full Time Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic/Fire Inspector. Applicants must meet the following:

t  18 years old

t  U.S. Citizen

t  Valid Ohio driver's license

t  Ohio Level II Firefighting certification

t  Ohio Paramedic certification

t  EVOC --Emergency Vehicle Operator Course

The following qualifications are preferred:

t  Associate's Degree or 2 years' college credit

t  At least one year of recent, successful service—full or part time---

as a Firefighter/Paramedic         

t  Ohio Fire Safety Inspector certification (MUST be obtained within one year if appointed)

Current base salary is $48,438; outstanding benefits package.

**Antique Fire Apparatus Show – July 8^th**

 

We invite all to come out to beautiful Veterans Memorial Park and step back in time-revisit firefighting of bygone days-antique apparatus and equipment on display, fire related flea market vendors and Germantown Firefighters food stand all in a nice shaded park near downtown Germantown, directly behind City Hall and Station 63.

FREE ADMISSION and a great family outing.
