Unmuting and Re-muting:
- On a desktop or Zoom application
- Click the Unmute/microphone button at the bottom left of the meeting control panel (click again to re-mute user), or…
- Click the blue Unmute button that appears when you hover over your name in Participant List, or…
- Click Alt + A (click Alt + A again to re-mute), or…
- Press and hold the Space Bar to temporarily unmute. Release the space bar to re-mute the user.
- On a Phone dial-in
- Press * then 6 to mute/unmute user in Zoom meeting
- It may be necessary to unmute phone as well
Screen Sharing:
- To share your desktop screen, click the Share Screen button in the meeting controls panel, centered at the bottom of the zoom window.
- Select one of the screen sharing options (Unless you are trying to share a white board or are using the Zoom app via cellphone, select Screen One).
- Click Share
Note: Sharing your screen moves the meeting control panel to a different part of your screen (usually the top). The panel can be moved by clicking and dragging it around your screen.
