ITLS Ohio Emergency Care Conference

 

The 2020 ITLS Ohio Emergency Care Conference will take place February 27-29, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Worthington, Ohio.

 

This premier pre-hospital conference will feature many national speakers including Bill Smock, MD.

 

Participants can earn up to 16 hours of EMS continuing education at the Emergency Care Conference. Even more CE credits will be available at the pre-conference workshops. New this year, the conference is also approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Ohio law authorizes state agencies to adopt, amend, or rescind rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC).

The rules in OAC Chapter 4766-5 (air medical rules) were final filed with the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR) on November 19, 2019 and will become effective on December 15, 2019.

The amended rules are posted at LAW Writer® Ohio Laws and Rules.  

Amendments include requiring that applications be complete, be received by the license expiration date, and include service tax ID or EIN number.  Also required are the medical director contact information and license number. Rule 4766-5-03 is revised to state that fees are nonrefundable.  A temporary permit fee and process has been added, replacing the previous process for a temporary permit. An incorporated by reference rule has been added.
