Joint CISA-FBI Cybersecurity Advisory on Sophisticated Spearphishing Campaign

June 1, 2021

This email notification was produced by the Division of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). Sophisticated Spearphishing Campaign Targets Government Organizations, IGOs, and NGOs

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are responding to an ongoing Spearphishing campaign targeting government organizations, intergovernmental organizations (IGOs), and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). A sophisticated cyber threat actor leveraged a compromised end-user account from Constant Contact—a legitimate email marketing software company—to spoof a U.S. government organization and distribute links to malicious URLs.

In response, CISA and the FBI have released Joint Cybersecurity Advisory AA21-148A: Sophisticated Spearphishing Campaign Targets Government Organizations, IGOs, and NGOs and Malware Analysis Report MAR-10339794-1.v1, providing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs); downloadable indicators of compromise (IOCs); and recommended mitigations.

CISA strongly encourages organizations to review AA21-148A and  MAR-10339794-1.v1 and apply the necessary mitigations.

#GMVEMSC: UPDATE Kettering Main Campus ED Drive

Updated information regarding ED drive at Kettering Main Campus:

On June 9th and 10th, all traffic to the drive exiting out of the ED at Kettering Health Main Campus will be closed for asphalt repairs.

There will be crews on-site to manage EMS traffic which will be switching the entrance drive to a two-way traffic pattern.  This will require a U-turn or turn around in the Rehab entrance for ambulances that will fit under the overhang.

Please notify all crews that no apparatus other than EMS transport vehicles will be able to navigate this area during the paving.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

#GMVEMSC: GMVEMSC App Update Info

Yesterday the App Committee updated the GMVEMSC App and removed the 2020 Protocol and moved the 2021 Protocol to the Main home screen. We now understand some people (not all) are experiencing issues accessing and downloading the App (both on Android and Apple). We are currently working on resolving the problem, but it may be a few days before both App stores relaunch the App. We are also continuing to work  with the App Builder on disenabling the username field when you open the App. This isn’t required and you can get “cancel” to bypass it. Sorry for any inconvenience. As we always recommend having a back-up plan such as paper copy in the Ambulance or access to the PDF document.
