| | May 19, 2020 | | SFM Variance - Fireworks Sales During Stay Safe Ohio Click here for the variance for fireworks sales just issued by the Marshal. It permits online sales and curb-side pickup (on a licensed premise) of 1.4G/consumer fireworks sold at retail and wholesale by licensed wholesalers and manufacturers. It also permits online verification of an exhibitor's license and local permit for the sale of 1.3G/display fireworks. The variance lasts during the effective period of Executive Order 2020-01D and applicable Director of Health Orders for business operations, including Dr. Acton's April 30, 2020 "Stay Safe Ohio" Order. It is being distributed to the 50 licensees today & Code Enforcement will work with the local fire departments with licensed locations in their jurisdiction to make such departments aware of the variance. | | |
