This survey will become part of an Applied Research Project (ARP) and will provide valuable feedback about how our first responders may regard behavioral/mental health awareness within their department and help identify ways that it might be improved. The applied research is part of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. This program prompts fire service leaders to investigate key issues important to the fire/ems profession and to seek solutions to those problems through research.
