ANNOUNCEMENT

Ohio law authorizes state agencies to adopt, amend, or rescind rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code (RC).

Rule 4765-4-03 in Ohio Administrative Code (O.A.C.) Chapter 4765-4 (Reporting Delivery of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Care) was filed with the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR) on May 10, 2019.  The rule (Required reporting) became effective on August 1, 2019.

The amended rule can be viewed at the Register of Ohio by entering 4765-4-03 in the search box.  The amended rule will be posted at LAWriter® Ohio Laws and Rules.

The rule is amended to require that data submitted electronically to the EMS incident reporting system and to the state trauma registry be retained by the Division of EMS indefinitely or until superseded, obsolete, or replaced, and no longer of any administrative value.
