It has been brought to my attention that SALINE IRRIGATION BOTTLES are in short supply at Miami Valley Hospital (MVH).
Until rectified MVH facilities are currently being supplied with SALINE IRRIGATION BAGS.
(See photos).
Obviously there is great potential for the saline irrigation to be confused with intravenous saline!
Please be vigilant.
Respectfully,

Dayton MMRS along with many partner agencies is in the process of updating two of our Regional Plans: the West Central Ohio Regional Biological Response Plan, and the West Central Ohio Region 3 Plan for Response to a Radiological Emergency with Health Consequences. We would like to list some resources that could be called on during such emergencies.
If your agency has a unit for Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) response such as an MCI Trailer or other MCI Unit that would be available for response on a mutual aid basis, please reply to this email with the following particulars:
· Agency:
· Unit designation (e.g., “MCI-10):
· Dispatch center for your agency:
· Number to call for emergency response:
· VERY brief description of unit capabilities:
· What radiological detection gear is carried (if any):
· Any other information you’d like to provide:
Thank you very much for your assistance.

With a new GMVEMSC database approaching, the Education Committee has decided it would be best not to enter 2018 CBT test scores into the current database, and wait for the completion of the new database. Will update with additional information soon.
